Bershka entra en Alemania con la apertura de una tienda ecoeficiente en el centro de Berlín

La cadena de moda Bershka, propiedad del grupo Inditex, ha comenzado su actividad comercial en Alemania con la apertura de su primera tienda en el centro de Berlín, según ha informado la firma textil en un comunicado.

La tienda, que ha sido diseñada en el marco del plan medioambiental ‘Inditex Sostenible 2011-2015’, por el que el grupo aplicará «exigentes» criterios de ahorro energético, minimización de residuos y sostenibilidad en cada una de sus nuevas tiendas, opta a la certificación LEED en su categoría de platino.

Eco-city vs climate change

Due to rapid urbanization in this highly developed and stable republic, its government, along with its band of ecology experts, came up with a master plan of building an «»eco-city,» a city that is low in carbon emission but boosting economic growth.

This is Korea’s way of fighting climate change, so they said.

By laying the concept, Professor Kwi-Gon Kim, director of the International Urban Training Center (IUTC) based here and the «master» of such plan, was not actually talking about «vague things.»

Prof. Kim said the idea of establishing an «eco-city» in Korea started when the perception on ecological conservation became a significant global issue.
