Crece certificación LEED en Latinoamérica

Un nuevo aire económico ha impulsado el desarrollo de la construcción sostenible en América Latina. Hoy el USGBC reporta más de 500 proyectos en proceso de certificación en nuestra región.

Aunque funciona desde 1998, el sistema de certificación de edificios sostenibles LEED tiene poco tiempo de implementado en Latinoamérica; sin embargo las estadísticas muestran un creciente interés de los constructores por este sello que aunque no otorga exenciones en la carga tributaria, sí genera ahorros en la operación que dinamizan el retorno de la inversión.
