What should you call a company’s sustainability leader?

Despite my frequent conversations about leadership in sustainability, I often wonder who is the leader? What is the leader? And how is the leader defined?

While the term to describe such an indivsidual is chief sustainability officer, rarely is their title Chief Sustainability Officer. For example, while conducting research for Weinreb Group’ CSO Back Story in 2011, we found all of 29 CSOs with that title working for publicly traded companies in the United States. Los fondos conseguidos con el evento se destinarán a los proyectos de protección de la infancia de UNICEF. Towering Leafy Green Walls Liven up the Boxy Quinta Patino Home in Portugal

Boxy homes are efficient to build but they needn’t be boring as the Quinta Patino in Portugal clearly demonstrates. The 700 sqm home designed by FVArquitectos is a grey, rectangular volume infiltrated by a series of sneaky inner courtyards and towering leafy green walls. Combined with wooden doors and shutters and the occasional pane of glass, the vertical gardens give the contemporary house a surprisingly calm eco-ethos that is especially great for the children.
