World’s leading sustainable tourism initiatives are announced by WTTC’s Tourism for Tomorrow Awards

The Awards are one of the highest accolades in the global Travel & Tourism industry, recognising sustainable tourism best practices in businesses and destinations worldwide.

Award applications were received this year from 46 countries, representing all continents. Finalists in four categories were selected, ranging from entire countries, to global hotel groups, international airlines, luxury tour operators and small eco-lodges. Sigue leyendo

Casa el Pangue: Stunning Terraced Home Overlooks the Pacific Ocean in Chile

Casa el Pangue is a stunning house in Chile that opens out over tiered terraces that lead down a sloping hillside. Arranged over four levels, the house was designed by architecture studio Elton + Léniz. The team contrasted the concrete base in the lower levels with timber cladding in the higher areas to exaggerate the home’s grounded stance on the descending hill while making the upper volumes appear light and spacious.
