Copenhaguen Towers: El hotel más verde del mundo

Copenhaguen Towers es un hotel internacional de cuatro estrellas inaugurado en 2009 y ha sido nombrado el hotel más verde del mundo por las Naciones Unidas.

Copenhagen Towers cumple con el Green Building standard, tal como exige la UE. También es el primer hotel de Dinamarca que se han unido al UN’s Global Compact. El edificio se estima que ahorrará 1.373 toneladas de CO2 anualmente y recibió el premio «det gyldne søm» (el clavo de oro) para la construcción más innovadora respetuosa  con el medio ambiente.

The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC)’s Tourism for Tomorrow Awards are aimed at recognizing best practice in sustainable tourism worldwide, and the 2013 awards are due out tomorrow, at WTTC’s annual global summit.
