Llegando a la fecha crítica del 31 de diciembre de 2020 con sus edificios de consumo energético «casi nulo». Según la DIRECTIVA 2010/31/UE DEL PARLAMENTO EUROPEO Y DEL CONSEJO, relativa a la eficiencia energética de los edificios, para el año 2019 todos los edificios públicos deberán construirse bajo la filosofía del consumo energético casi nulo y para el año 2021 esta circunstancia tendrán que cumplirla el resto de edificaciones.
