Villa Topoject flows with the hilly topography of the area to create semi private outdoor spaces that blur the line between exterior and interior.

Un laboratorio para investigar reacción de los techos verdes

Investigadores de la Universidad Iberoamericana (Unibe) instalarán un laboratorio de techos verdes donde estudiarán el comportamiento de los mismos en climas tropicales, con el fin de determinar la factibilidad de transferir esta tecnología a varias regiones del pais.

El estudio “Respuesta hidrológica, térmica y sanitaria de los techos verdes en climas tropicales y sus impactos sobre el medio ambiente urbano”, es financiado por el Fondo Nacional de Innovación y Desarrollo Científico y Tecnológico FONDOCyT del Ministerio de Educación Superior, Ciencia y Tecnología (MESCyT), por un monto de RD$8,026,350.72 y durará 36 meses.

Bajo el nombre de MES, el programa está liderado por NOVOTEC CONSULTORES y cuenta con el respaldo y experiencia de dos centros de investigación: el Instituto Tecnológico de Galicia y la Universidad de Alicante.

Financiado a través del programa INNPACTO del Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad, el MES concluirá a finales de 2012 y se divide en tres fases: establecimiento de unos criterios de sostenibilidad en la edificación; desarrollo de un cuerpo metodológico para evaluar la sostenibilidad en la edificación; y, finalmente, una parte práctica consistente en la validación de la metodología mediante la evaluación de edificios piloto bajo criterios de sostenibilidad.
